Baby Yoda Sipping Soup - The Mandalorian Cookies

Are you guys watching The Mandalorian??? It's almost impossible not to get on the Baby Yoda kick.

I mean look at him!  And I know it's not really baby Yoda - he/she is technically called "The Child" in the show but the interwebs have dubbed it Baby Yoda so I'm sticking with that.

These are Baby Yoda sipping soup cookies.  You know meme right?

Baby Yoda sippin' soup! It's just too much so I had to make it in cookie form!

I used sugar cookie dough and tinted half green (I used food coloring but use matcha to add some great flavor!) and half light brown with cocoa powder.

Roll out your dough and using a gingerbread man cutter cut out brown bodies and green heads.

Attach them by pressing them slightly together at the seams.  I cut out ears free hand and also added some extra brown dough for robe accents.

Cut the tip from a Bugle chip for the soup bowl and rub with some cocoa powder.

Fold arms around bowl and add a little green dough for hands

Add a little more brown dough for more robe accents.  Use black sprinkles as eyes and a little pink melted candy wafer to color the ears.

Be warned! If you eat the ears Baby Yoda turns into Uncle Fester from the Addams Family!
So creepy!

BUT - until then you have some super cute Baby Yoda Sipping Soup Cookies!

This should be a fun week.  The last Mandalorian episode is this week.  We see the Rise of Skywalker this weekend.  And it's Christmas next week so all in all a great end to the year!

Hope you enjoy the cookies!
